What customers say?

“ Originally came into contact with this business at the "made in Hawaii" convention at the Ala Moana mall. My wife and I fell in love with their aloha stuffed bread and, decided to go to their actual location a few days later to see what else they had. The service here is amazing and the cashier was very patient and allowed me to study the menu. We ended up getting a breakfast sandwich on a bagel (flavor of our choice), two frozen caramel coffees (delicious) a scone and two more aloha breads. All was delicious. Just be aware, this place is located right in the middle of the city so parking might be hard to find. Also, their interior and upstairs dining area was closed due to COVID restrictions.. So orders were taken at the door for takeout. They did have two small tables out front to eat, at though. Overall, it was a great experience! ”

“ The cutest cafe with incredible food. They make their own peanut butter which is absolutely delicious, and the Aloha bread is a must-try. The smoothies are also great, and they have the loveliest seating area upstairs! The owner was so sweet as well ”

- Hannah Johnson -

“ Most of the time, I go to the stores at Kakaako. It was Sunday, so I went to Kaimuki's! I love their scones! Today I had a cranberry scone! There were plenty of cranberries in it, which made me feel full and satisfied! And today's coffee was toasted sesame! It was a very tasty coffee with the aroma of sesame. My son likes cheese bagel. He looked very happy to eat it :) ”

- Emi Roden -

“ They ran out of my favorite matcha chocolate scone and the front guy (tan, black cap, friendly guy) gave us a complimentary scone with matcha powder sprinkled on top Been coming here for five years, amazing food ”

- Michelle Lee -

“ Absolutely LOVE this place. Coffee was great, scones were perfect, and the alpha aloha bread was deeeeeeelicious. Definitely a hidden gem I will be going to regularly ”

- Kabryna Wordlaw -

“ The matcha latte I got was made with oat milk, and honestly, it felt like I was mostly tasting the oat milk instead of the matcha—my friend thought so too. It was on the sweeter side if that’s your thing. The sandwiches were pretty good! The breakfast one was nice and warm, while the chicken cranberry was cold. They both were toasted, which was cool. We liked the breakfast sandwich way more. The cranberry chicken one was a bit too sweet and didn’t have much flavor. ”

“ A hidden gem! My friend and I like to try out different coffee shops all over the island. Today we went to Aloha Bakehouse & Cafe; we loved the scones, coffee, and atmosphere. It was super cute and spacious upstairs. We plan to go back! ”

“ There is an upstairs seating that is super awesome and the food is affordable and good. Especially the veggie breakfast barrito. ”
